My brother-in-law, Thomas, married the love of his life, Theresa, on a beautiful May day in New Orleans last spring. The bride and her maids pampered and primped at the Renaissance Hotel New Orleans while the groom relaxed with his groomsmen by the pool at the Hyatt French Quarter.
Since Theresa was having a spring wedding, she chose getting-ready robes that would be comfortable and cool on the warm spring day. Theresa fashioned a white cotton seersucker robe with a medium pink monogram of her new initials. Her bridesmaids wore pink and white striped seersucker robes and we decided on a hot pink monogram that would pop against the fabric.. Major props to my sister-in-law Sarah who made being nine months pregnant look easy (She would go on to deliver her son just 2 days later!) The girls looked so beautiful in their robes and Theresa was a stunning bride!
Our seersucker robe (the "Raleigh") is designed to enhance all silhouettes, with a slightly fitted bodice and flow-y skirt, hemmed to a fashionable length. Made from the finest cotton blend seersucker with high-quality finishing, the robe secures with inside ties and a 1 1/2-inch wide sash slipped through belt loops. The robe features 3/4 length sleeves adorned with a 4-inch white Battenburg style lace. The Raleigh is available in pink and white stripes, blue and white stripes, lime and white stripes, and white on white stripes.
